Memorandum Persefahaman (MoU) antara MWBF dan MVP Marketing

Pada 26 September 2016, Persekutuan Bola Keranjang Kerusi Roda Malaysia (MWBF) telah menandatangani memorandum persefahaman (MoU) bersama dengan MVP Marketing Sdn Bhd di Pusat Kecemerlangan Sukan Paralimpik Kampung Pandan dan disaksikan oleh Penaung Persekutuan, Tun Jeanne Abdullah.

Menerusi MoU tersebut, MWBF akan bekerjasama dengan MVP Marketing Sdn Bhd dalam membangunkan dan mempromosikan sukan bola keranjang kerusi roda di Malaysia.

Sementara itu, kedua-dua pihak juga akan merangka beberapa program jangka panjang bagi sukan tersebut terutamanya persediaan dalam menghadapi temasya Sukan Para Asean di sini tahun 2017.

3rd Series of 11th Malaysian Wheelchair Basketball League 2016

The third series of the 11th National Wheelchair Basketball League 2016 was held from 23rd September 2016 to 24th September 2016 at the Paralympics Excellence Centre in Kampung Pandan, Kuala Lumpur. Organised by MWBF and supported by the Ministry of Youths and Sports and the National Sports Council, the event received strong support from organisations that include Molten, CIMB Foundation, and Nestle Milo.

MCA 3-on-3 Basketball Challenge 2016

On 18 September 2016, the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) co-organised a 3-on-3 Basketball Match Challenge in collaboration with the Malaysia Basketball Association (MABA), MVP Marketing and Letsgocare at Wisma MCA. The FIBA 3X3 basketball rules is slowly gaining popularity among the young as it emphasises speed and agility. Donation collected from the event will be channeled to 3 beneficiary NGOs: Dual Blessing Bhd, Beautiful Gate Foundation & Lovely Disable Home. The challenge not only aims to encourage more youths to be sports-savvy and physically fit, but also provides a platform for the disabled or OKU to integrate with society through sports. The event saw four groups of disabled players in participation.
